About

Welcome!

My name is Alissa.  I am an Interior Designer, cooking and photography enthusiast, and blogger living in West Michigan.  Design and architecture have been my passion for as long as I can remember.  I learned how to read floor plans at the age of 6 when my parents built a house and haven't stopped since.

I attended Michigan State University (Go GREEN!) and graduated with a B.A. in Interior Design.  For the past 15 years I've worked for an architectural firm where I design everything from schools, to churches, and office spaces.   I am a professional member of IIDA, a NCIDQ certificate holder, and a LEED AP.

When I'm not working, you'll find me: crafting, cooking, taking pictures, sewing, or pursuing some other creative endeavor.  This blog is where I share it all.  Thanks for visiting!
